The First Amendment is the muscle that drives democracy. 

Let's flex it!  Flex it or lose it!

If you oppose the gutting of American Democracy by oligarchs and idiots, consider this opportunity for protesting.  Drive as you normally would, obeying all the rules of traffic.... with your "flashers" on to convey your opposition to Fascism and your support of the Constitution and American Democracy.  The "flashers" (hazard lights) on modern vehicles are there to say "Attention!  Danger!".  Help make "DWF" (driving while flashing) immediately recognizable as visual statement of resistance. 

In 2013 Michael Elli was pulled over and ticketed for flashing his lights at oncoming cars to warn them of a government action that posed a danger to other drivers..a police speed trap.

He contested the $1000 fine and ultimately a Federal District Judge ruled that Elli's use of his lights was speech protected by the First Amendment:

“When “[a]n intent to convey a particularized message [is] present, and in the surrounding circumstances the likelihood [is] great that the message would be understood by those who viewed it,” it is protected speech. See Spence v. State of
Wash., 418 U.S. 405, 410-11 (1974). 

You pick the when, where and how long you "Flash".   Maybe all the time, maybe just when driving downtown, maybe with a group of friends who commit "DWF", single file, every evening for half an hour driving around the County Courthouse.  Maybe you PWF (park while flashing) solo or collectively, outside your elected representative's office or home, at your kid's soccer match, in the church parking lot.
